Fortune Soda

Fortune is a fictional craft soda manufacturer that is themed around pirate treasure. The label is inspired by a pirate flag, culturally recognized by its black background and white imagery. Each label also has a spot color that matches the color of the soda inside that’s used in the illustration and text. The logo was made using a blackletter typeface, which is often associated with Old English text dating back to when pirates were most active. The illustration on the primary display panel is inspired by woodcut relief prints, which were in use centuries ago in printmaking.
